At a meeting of the Kilkenny county board on Monday night, Brian Cody was ratified as manager of the Kilkenny hurlers for a 23rd season.
The 66-year-old first took charge of Kilkenny for the 1999 season. He has led the Cats to 11 All-Ireland titles.
James McGarry and Martin Comerford were confirmed as Cody's selectors, while DJ Carey has departed the management team after one season.
Michael Comerford will continue as strength and conditioning coach.
By the time this year's All-Ireland is played, it will be nearly six years since Kilkenny last won the All-Ireland. Though, in the interim, they have reached two finals. Last year, they won the Leinster title for the first time since 2016 but where knocked out of the truncated championship at the semi-final stage.
On Monday night, six-time Kilkenny All-Ireland winner Derek Lyng was confirmed as manager of the county's U20 team for another season while Richie Mulrooney will take charge of the minors.
