Last year it was Jackie Tyrell and Aaron Kernan.
The Kilkenny hurler and former Armagh footballer had a brief stint in Major League Baseball and Premier League football respectively as part of the AIB commissioned documentary 'The Toughest Trade'.
Today, AIB announced the first participant for a new episode of the documentary.
Brendan Maher, the Tipp hurler, is currently in Australia with Big Bash League side Adelaide Strikers.
The opportunity to head Down Under and face 140km/h bowlers was too good for Maher to turn down.
There are not too many lads who can say they got an opportunity to do something like this. To get the chance to go and have a go at it is probably once in a lifetime, said Maher.
Naturally, I would be very competitive and I probably will end up putting a bit of pressure on myself, but I can’t get bogged down in ‘I have to do this, I have to do that’. I just want to do the best I can.
In the 2015 version of The Toughest Trade (which you can watch here in full) former MLB player Brian Schneider and ex-Premier League footballer David Bentley came to Ireland to play GAA. Schneider tried his hand at hurling with James Stephens, while David Bentley made a memorable appearance for Crossmaglen Rangers.
Presumably, something similar will happen this year with an Aussie cricketer.
You can watch the first teaser clip of Maher training with Adelaide below.
