It's the end of an era in Tipperary hurling as one of the greatest goalkeepers in history announces his retirement from inter county hurling. Brendan Cummins has been an ever present between the sticks for Tipp since 1995 (with a little enforced sabbatical when Babs Keating managed the team very unsuccessfully in 2007) . Cummins won two All-Ireland titles in 2001 and 2010, along with five Munster titles and five All-Stars.
