With the All-Ireland final less than a week away now is a good time to look at some of the best goals of the championship.
There have been some spectacular goals which we will look at below but honourable mentions must first go to the goalscoring predator Cillian O'Connor who got two hat-tricks in a row this summer but unfortunately didn't make our top five goals. And also to Kevin Reilly who got the luckiest/longest goal of the championship.

Here's our top five:
5. Colm McFadden ( Donegal Vs Mayo All-Ireland quarter finals)
It may have been all over in the game, and Donegal were losing by 20 points at this stage, but what a finish by Colm McFadden. There were eight Mayo players in front of McFadden but he still managed to find the top corner of the net.

4. Ciaran Lyng ( Wexford Vs Louth Leinster Championship quarter final)
Ciaran Lyng did his reputation no harm with this effort against Louth from distance. Wexford went into that game against Louth as slight underdogs after Louth beat Laois convincingly in the first round, but Lyng was the leader/chief marksman once again for Wexford and he struck this goal from over 20 yards out to help Wexford on their way to victory.

3. Kevin McMenamon ( Kerry Vs Dublin All-Ireland semi-final)
Kerry fans and player must be sick to death of the sight of Kevin McMenamon bearing down on their goal. Whether he meant it or not it was still in the last minute and This was a real pressure score and Kevin came up with the goods once again. He is a man for the big occasion and this was a brilliant finish.

2. James O'Donoghue ( Kerry Vs Dublin All-Ireland semi-final)
This was the real introduction of James O'Donoghue to the footballing world. This goal was a thing of beauty, it had everything, the vision by Gooch to pick out Walsh through the eye of a needle it looked like, then Walsh showing the quick hands to offload the ball to the in-rushing O'Donoghue and then he finished like a seasoned pro into the bottom corner beyond the best goal keeper in Ireland.

1. Michael Meehan (Galway Vs Cork All-Ireland Qualifiers)
Michael Meehan scored this last gasp goal against Cork in the All-Ireland qualifiers but unfortunately for both Galway and Michael they were losing by four points with that the last kick of the game.
This was a net buster of a goal if ever there was. Hopefully Michael will still be around for Galway scoring goals like this for a few more years.
