With only four teams left in the All-Ireland Football Championship and some of Ireland's best GAA stars flocking to the States for a summer of football and good weather, we've been busy looking at all the standout players in America this season.
With such a rich list of footballers stateside, here at Balls.ie, we've picked our best XV of footballers in America this summer and it's a seriously strong side.
Goalkeeper - Dylan Foley - Cork - Sean Treacys, San Francisco
Not only is Dylan Foley on the Cork football squad but the Éire Og a 2023 Sigerson Cup champion after an outstanding campaign between the posts for UCC this season.

Corner Back - Ronan Lanigan - Clare - Connemara Gaels, Boston
Lanigan is a key member of the Clare squad and played a pivotal role in the Banner County's Munster Championship run this year that saw them reach the Munster final.

Full Back - Sean Kelly - Galway - Connemara Gaels, Boston
Kelly needs little introduction. He is the Galway captain and lead his side to an All-Ireland final last season, and won the Connacht Championship this season. One of the best players in the country.

Corner Back - Jack Glynn - Galway - Galway Boston
Kelly's teammate Glynn - the reigning Young Footballer of the Year - has also made the trip with the cornerback having won two Connacht title in his career and as well as reaching both this and last year's Sigerson Cup final with UL

Wing Back - Cian Sheehan - Limerick - Sean Treacys, San Francisco
A 2022 All-Star nominee, Sheehan has it all, despite starting his career as a forward Sheehan has made himself one of the best wing-backs in the game and is an absolute powerhouse for Limerick.

Centre Back - Paul Keaney - Leitrim - Connemara Gaels, Boston
A Leitrim stalwart Keaney is a fine centre-back with evidence of that coming in his standout performances for UL in the Sigerson Cup this season, where he reached the final.

Wing Back- Andrew McGowan - Dublin - John McBrides Chicago
McGowan may not be an intercounty star, but he enjoyed a wonderful run for Dublin club Kilmacud Crokes when they won the All-Ireland Club championship this season.

Midfield - Jason McGee - Donegal - Donegal Boston
McGee made his Donegal debut in 2017 at 19 winning an Ulster SFC title, National League title, Ulster Minor title and Ulster U21 title with his native county.

Midfield - Jack Savage - Kerry - Westmeath New York,
Savage wasn't available for selection for Kerry this season, with the Kerin O'Rahilly's man returning to live in Dubai. However, Savage is a serious footballer and played a huge role in Kerry's Sam Maguire success in 2022.

Wing Forward - Ultan Kelm - Fermanagh - Wolfe Tones, Chicago
Kelm was back to his best for Fermanagh this season as he returned from the hip injury that not only cast him to the sidelines but also scuppered a proposed move to AFL side the Freemantle Dockers.

Centre Forward - Matthew Tierney - Galway - Sean Treacys, San Francisco
Tierney burst onto the scene this season, putting his name alongside Damien Comer and Shane Walsh as a key talisman for the Tribesmen and his blistering his pace would revolutionise any attack.

Wing Forward- Emmet McMahon - Clare - Connemara Gaels, Boston
Another member of UL's 2022 Sigerson Cup final squad, McMahon not only starred in Clare's run to the Munster final this year but was also chosen for the 2022 Sigerson Cup team of the season.

Corner Forward - Michael Lundy - Galway - Mayo, New York
Lundy is most well-known for being one of Corofin's top stars during their famous three-in-a-row 2018, 2019, and 2020 All-Ireland Club Championship wins.

Full Forward - Niall O'Donnell - Donegal - Donegal Boston
O'Donnell has a Donegal Club championship and a National League title with Donegal as well as two Ulster SFC Championships at just 23 and would probably slot into most intercounty sides.

Another Galway star who's headed stateside this season, Brannigan hasn't been involved with the Galway squad this season but always shone for Galway when he wasn't on the pitch.
