This weekend should have been jampacked with GAA championship fixtures, including the mighty Cavan beating Monaghan for the second year in a row* but alas we are where we are.
However, GAA fans will get still get some entertainment over the coming days, with The Sunday Game returning to RTÉ, TG4 serving up two more classic matches and BBC rebroadcasting their brilliant True North documentary episode 'Crossmaglen: Field of Dreams' this Sunday night at 10:30pm.
Originally broadcast in 2016, the programme features the likes of Oisin McConville, Paul Hearty and Jamie Clarke as Thomas Niblock explores the story of one of the most successful GAA teams in history.
As we mentioned The Sunday Game will also be returning to our screens at 9:30pm on Sunday night with GAA president John Horan joining Des Cahill, alongside Stephen Rochford, Ciaran Whelan, Cyril Farrell and Anthony Daly in the first of a new series looking back at some of the most classic moments in GAA championship history. This week they'll be featuring the 2017 All-Ireland football final between Dublin and Mayo as well as the Clare vs Galway 2018 All-Ireland hurling semi-final.
Meanwhile TG4 will be showing the 2002 All Ireland football semi-final between Dublin and Armagh and the 1988 Galway v Tipperary All-Ireland hurling final on Sunday afternoon. And if that's not enough GAA then you can also watch the Dublin v Armagh All-Ireland football final from 1977 on eir sport at 8pm on Saturday evening.
