The ribald antics of St Patrick's Ballyragget's intermediate hurlers have been widely shared today, as footage of their celebrations after winning the Kilkenny county title has been leaked and widely disseminated. The club defeated Graigue Ballycallan in the final on Sunday, with footage of the celebrations going viral today.
Multiple photos and videos show players posing with strippers (along with the cup), with one photograph showing one of the girls performing a sexual act on a player.
In a statement, the club say that "St Patrick’s club wishes to state the photographs were taken at a private event. The club will co-operate fully with any investigation into the matter".
