Ballyhale Shamrocks gained revenge against All-Ireland champions Ballygunner as they defeated the Waterford side 1-16 to 0-16.
After defeating Ballyhale in last years final, it wasn't to be for the Munster champions in titanic battle in Croke Park.
Ballyhale will now face Antirm side Dunloy who defeated Galway's St Thomas in the first semi-final earlier today.
In this highly anticipated match-up, Ballyhale started the stronger of the two sides, with TJ Reid crucial to their victory. The Killkenny veteran scored 1-08, including a crucial second half penalty that proved the difference between the sides.
Ballyhale Get Their Revenge
The sdies exchanged the lead throughput the first half, with some exceptional scores in what felt like an inter-county game, the standard was that high.

Dessie Hutchinson and Ronan Corcoran scored the pick of the points for the Waterford side, while Ballyhale had goal chances saved by the exceptional Stephen O'Keeffe as the sides went in level at the interval.
The second half saw Ballyhale come out the stronger of the sides, with TJ Reid finally finding a way past the O'Keeffe with a powerful penalty into the bottom corner, just moments after he saved a penalty.

While their was some quality scores from the All-Ireland champions, Ballyhale were determined to reclaim their crown as they were always ahead in the second half to claim revenge.

It's feels unbelievable, not just because it's Ballygunner, but they are a great team. The battle itself was unbelievable. Obviously after last year's All-Ireland it's unbelievable.
We had been through them games and won. But to have been through one and lose it's obviously for the head, for the mind. We knew coming out for the last few minutes seeing the game there, but this time it was different. There was different steel in lad's minds and it wasn't going to happen again."
