Ahead of this year's GAA championships we're celebrating all that's good about the fans that will be decorating the summer with their colour and stories. Next up it's County Carlow. Now It's hard being a Carlow GAA fan, though the Scallion Eaters have made some progress in the football and hurling as of late. The footballers secured promotion from Division 4 for the first time in 33 years, while the hurlers were promoted to Division 1B after a fine campaign in the League, so the Carlow faithful will surely be facing into the season with a moderate amount of optimism.
Tears of joy, oh Lord, OH LORD what a day, what a day for our little County??
