Now It's hard being a Carlow GAA fan, though the Scallion Eaters have made some progress in the football and hurling as of late. The footballers secured promotion from Division 4 for the first time in 33 years, while the hurlers were promoted to Division 1B after a fine campaign in the League, so the Carlow faithful will surely be facing into the season with a moderate amount of optimism.
