The people of Radio Kerry have performed a true public service today. They have tracked down the man in the Kerry jersey who overshadowed Vogue chief Anna Wintour at the Met Gala.
Clayton James is a personal trainer who 'has links to Dingle' and the man from Radio Kerry told us that he loves Radio Kerry.
Speaking to Jerry O'Sullivan on Kerry Today, James said he has been travelling to Dingle regularly over the past twenty-five years, a place he extols as ' the beautiful in the world with the best people and the best traditional music in the world'.
The famous jersey was bought in Garveys in Dingle. It does not appear that the sleeveless look is an ode to Trevor Giles, rather it reminds him of the basketball jerseys in the States.
James says he is a 'huge fan' of the Kerry football team and that his favourite player is 'the Gooch'. He watches all the games in the local pubs in New York.
