Once again, it was heartbreak for Ardscoil Rís in the Croke Cup final.
On Easter Monday, the Limerick side lost out to St. Kieran's as Kilkenny's domination of hurling at various levels continued.
At the final whistle, just two points separated the sides.
It seems pre-game nerves for Ardscoil were not a factor in the result. That's if manager Niall Moran's interview prior to the throw-in is a good indicator.
Speaking to TG4, the Limerick hurler explained that the atmosphere was buoyant on the trip to Semple.
They're great. There's no fear to those boys. Between the mobile phones and between trying to spot women coming up on the bus, there's no fear of those boys. They'll be ok.
Given the automaton-like nature of Kilkenny hurlers, you would have to expect that the St. Kieran's lads were not engaging in similar activities. There's plenty of time to socialise with the opposite sex when the boots have been hung up and you've got six All-Ireland medals.
