Waterford's League campaign has gotten off to a poor start after they lost 1-20 to 1-11 against Tipperary tonight.
For 50 minutes, Waterford were within touching distance of their Munster rivals but dipped in the latter exchanges as Jason Forde landed a penalty and rattled off several frees to bring Michael Ryan his first league win of the year.
Derek McGrath has unashamedly made his league intentions clear and is unlikely to be too concerned by tonight's result, but that confidence seems to be dwindling amongst fans if Eir's fan interviews after the game are anything to go by.
Waterford's captain and half-back Kevin Moran came in for some strong criticism.

Waterford's currently failures are quite obvious. The side only mustered 1-1 in the second half and still appear to have old reliances on key figures to win them games.
Their Allianz League campaign isn't set to get any easier, with Kilkenny next up at Walsh Park next Sunday.
