After impressing in the quarter-final replay against Roscommon, he was man of the match in the drawn semi-final against Kerry.
Today, the Ballaghaderreen veteran scored 1-01, and was at the right end of Mayo's crucial second goal that saw the team extend their lead to eight points at the start of the second half.
The corner forward beat Shane Enright to the bouncing ball, before a quick one-two with Cillian O'Connor.

In a 2-16 to 0-17 point win, the 33-year-old showed his class over both games against the Munster champions.
With only one All-Star to his name, Moran is in pole position to add a second to his mantelpiece. Some fans have even called for him for win the Footballer of the Year.
