PWC are the new sponsors of the All-Stars, and to mark the occasion, they've produced a mini-documentary at home with the 2017 Footballer of the Year, Andy Moran.

It's enjoyable, and features Moran at home, at his club in Ballaghaderreen, and in the gym, featuring testimony from his wife, Jennifer. Moran had a remarkable 2017 at the ripe old age of 33, scoring 2-9 in total across both All-Ireland semi-finals and the final. That final brought yet more heartbreak for Mayo, as the chase for an All-Ireland becomes less an ambition than it is a condition.

Undeterred by their extraordinary fortune since 1951, football is still deeply important in Mayo, and Moran sums it up nicely in the video with PWC. The ties that bind, says Moran, have been sown by the football team.

Someone said to me last week the only time their family meets up is for funerals and Mayo games. It allows my family to meet up, go to games, and celebrate something good on a Sunday.

The full video is worth a watch, below.
