Weeshie Fogarty is a man of high fallutin' tastes with a weakness for getting rained on in Fitzgerald Stadium. We know because we drank Coubousier in his house the day Sligo should have beat the Kingdom. Weeshie passed out early, so we spent most of the night admiring his bookshelf. He's a Chablis-drinking, Mahler-rocking, Bentley-driving kind of motherfucker who just happens to live, breathe and defecate Kerry football because that's what Kerry does to people.
So, a few months when one of the sound team on his Monday evening arts and entertainment programme Terrace Talk decided to venture up to the Dublin to piss away her youth at a pop concert, Weeshie was understandbly confused and revealed his ignorance of all things modern. We sympathize, Weesh.
Internet being what it is, Ireland's best (only?) hip-hop DJ, DJ Mek of Scary Eire has gone to the trouble of remixing a "Weeshie In Love" track. We're still waiting on the guest verse from the Gooch. Holla.
