This year's Allianz Football League has thrown up a fair few surprises. Disrupted by an extended Winter, today's run of games has nonetheless sealed the fate of many counties looking for promotion and trying to avoid relegation.
Although Division 2 will offer some late drama, for the likes of Carlow this has been a campaign to remember, whereas Derry, finalists in 2014, will spend next year in their place.
Below is a round up of all the teams who have been promoted, relegated and yet have something to play for.
Allianz Football League - Final Standings:
Division 1:
League final: Galway v Dublin
Relegated: Donegal & Kildare
After a surprising defeat in Croke Park to Monaghan, Galway sealed top spot ahead of Dublin with their win against bottom-side, Kildare.
In Ballybofey, Mayo rallied late to overcome Donegal and seal the Ulster men's drop to Division 2.
Division 2:
Promoted: Cavan & Roscommon
Relegated: Louth & ?
One of the divisions badly hit by the weather, Meath's win against Down means that it is yet to be decided who will join Louth in Division 3 next year. There is the outside chance that Cork could yet be drawn into that relegation battle depending on those final results.
Division 3:
Promoted: Armagh & Fermanagh
Relegated: Derry & Wexford
One of the divisions with plenty to play for on the final day, Longford were denied their place in Division 2 by some late Fermanagh brilliance, while Derry, having competed in the Division 1 League Final in 2014 will spend next year with Wexford in Division 4.
Division 4:
Promoted: Carlow & Laois
A 1-06 to 0-08 point scoreline in Laois' favour was enough to deny Carlow a perfect record in Division 4. They will now join them in Division 3.
Regarding those games yet to be played, the GAA are intending to confirm their plans in the morning.
