In the end, the Leinster Final was an easy win for Dublin. There was some tension beforehand with Diarmuid Connolly refusing to shake the hand of Meath goalkeeper Paddy O'Rourke.

After the game Meath manager Mick O'Dowd claimed that one of his players, substitute Mickey Burke, was bitten by a Dublin player during the second half.

John Fogarty of The Irish Examiner tweeted that Burke was seen boarding the Meath team bus with a bandaged middle finger.

In the picture below, taken during a second half schmozzle (you can see that here), Burke appears to be showing his finger to referee Padraig Hughes, presumably after the alleged biting incident.

It's not the first occasion in recent times that Dublin have been hit with allegations of biting.
