It was a busy weekend in the club football championships as the remaining counties crowned their club champions. Today's results mean we know the fixtures for the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship draw.
However, for those fortunate enough to lift their counties' premiere title, it's only the beginning of a much taller task - bringing provincial and possibly even national glory back to their local parish.
The defeat of Glen in the Derry SFC final means there'll be a new champion this year. The team they defeated in last year's final - St Brigid's - did not win their county title.
The bookies have pencilled in Galway champions Corofin as favourites, with Kilcoo second favourites, followed by Dublin champions Cuala.
There's still an awful long way to go. Now that the county finals are out of the way, the road to the pinnacle of club football in Croke Park is becoming all the clearer.
