All-Ireland champions Cork lead the way on the PwC All-Star camogie team for 2024, winning eight All-Stars on Friday evening at Croke Park.
Cork halfback Laura Hayes was named PwC Camogie Player of the Year while manager Ger Manley won PwC Camogie Manager of the Year.
Defeated All-Ireland finalists Galway won five All-Stars, while Tipp captain Karen Kennedy won an All-Star for the Premier county and Claire Gannon of St Jude's won an All-Star for Dublin.
Cork made it back-to-back All-Ireland triumphs in August when Katrina Mackey’s goal was the difference between them and Galway in the final.
The Mackey twins both won All-Stars, while Ashling Thompson won a fourth All-Star in midfield on a great night for Cork.
Cork had defeated Dublin in the semi-final, with the Dubs having reached their first semi-final in seven years after a memorable win over Kilkenny in the quarter final.
Galway overcame Tipperary by a point in their last four clash in Nowlan Park, turning the tables on the Premier who had defeated them in the League final.
The PwC All-Star banquet took place in the Croke Park hotel on Friday night where the year in camogie was celebrated, with the best players of the season honoured.
