Dublin footballing legend Alan Brogan has called time on his 15-year inter-county career.
The Oliver Plunketts/Eoghan Ruadh man won two All-Ireland medals, nine Leinster medals, three All Stars, two National Football Leagues and one All-Ireland U-21 crown.
His finest hour in blue came in 2011 when he helped the Dubs secure their first batch of Celtic crosses since 1995 with their late, late defeat of Kerry.
Hampered by injury in recent seasons, he was a substitute when they won the title again last year and was unable to play between the 2012 semi-final loss to Mayo and this season's Leinster Championship.
Along with goalkeeper Stephen Cluxton, Brogan (32) was the longest-serving player in the Metropolitans' squad. The pair made their Championship debuts on the same day in 2002 against Wexford in Carlow.
He made a total of 62 championship appearances for Dublin, scoring 11-127.
