Aidan O'Shea took part in the NFL Combine as part of The Toughest Trade documentary this evening. For the unitiated, the combine consists of a series of physical tasks undertaken by college football players in front of NFL coaches and scouts.
Included in the process is a 40 yard dash (sprint for us on this side of the Atlantic). At the Combine, O'Shea covered the 40 yard dash in a shade over five seconds.
In training ahead of the event, however, O'Shea's time was mightily impressive. Watch below:
To put @AIDOXI's 4.61 time into perspective, it's faster than every QB at the 2016 NFL Combine bar one! #TheToughesthttps://t.co/p7HIvFCe8x

O'Shea covered the ground in 4.61 seconds, which was exactly the same time as one Rob Gronkowski.
Incredibly, O'Shea's 4.61 was much better than the 4.78 seconds clocked by last year's top draft pick, the tight-end Maxx Williams.
O'Shea has some distance to go to beat the time set by Odell Beckham Jr - a ludicrous 4.43 in 2014 - and the tight-end record holder, Vernon Davis of the Denver Broncos, who scorched the distance in 4.31 seconds.
Elsewhere, O'Shea met NFL standards in terms of the time taken to land a field goal:

And as for things more difficult to quantify, like handling, the footage doesn't lie:
That catch wouldn't look out of place in the Superbowl! Hands like glue from @AIDOXI! #TheToughesthttps://t.co/pP4xreUkpS
