There was no rest for the wicked when it came to Aidan O'Shea in recent days, with the Mayo star making his return to club football just one week after his wedding in Kerry.
The Breaffy man tied the knot with long-term partner Kristin McKenzie Vass at Muckross Park Hotel on August 9th, with the celebrations continuing in the Kingdom over the weekend.
While you might have expected O'Shea to take some time off after his nuptials, the Breaffy man was back in his club colours for this weekend's game against Kilmeena.

Breaffy would overcome Kilmeena in their first game of the Mayo Senior Football Championship last night, running out as 1-13 to 0-12 winners.
Kilmeena, who were making a first senior championship appearance in 118 years, would ultimately come up just short against their much more experienced opponents.
Aidan O'Shea would play a big part for Breaffy just a week on from his wedding, and speaking to Mayo GAA TV after the game, he said that it had been a long few days in the buildup to this fixture.

Delighted just to get out and get a win. Kilmeena were obviously coming here for their first ever senior championship game, so fair play to them.
I work with a lot of them, obviously I know Jack [Carney] well from the county setup. I knew they would be coming here as a young team with loads of energy.
We're happy enough to get out with the win and get two point on the board. We've been building the last couple of weeks after the relegation play-off. Just happy to have two points on the board and looking forward to two weeks time against Ballintubber...
(Married life) is grand, not too bad. A long week, but I'm delighted to be here to play today.
We will tip away, we have a holiday for a few days and then I'm looking forward to two weeks time.
Aidan O'Shea will now have a couple of weeks to recover, with it being two weeks until their next Mayo Senior Football Championship fixture against Ballintubber.
He will no doubt be making the most of that short holiday over the coming days.
