There's no let-up for fans of Gaelic football in the Kingdom. After the dramatics on September 9th in the Kerry club intermediate championship semi-finals, David Clifford and his club side Fossa had to go into standby mode to accommodate for the senior county championship - which brought in the county's divisional sides.

Now two months on from their last club game Fossa finally have a date fixed for their Kerry intermediate club final clash against Milltown/Castlemaine.

While Dingle won the senior club championship back in September and will go on to represent Kerry in the Munster senior provincial tournament since East Kerry won the senior championship, the club that will represent Kerry at the intermediate level still has to be decided.

When is the Kerry Intermediate Championship football final?

The intermediate final between Fossa and Milltown/Castlemaine has finally been fixed.

The game will take place on Sunday, November 19th at 2:30pm in Austin Stack Park.

Fossa are looking to go from Premier Junior to Senior after a single season at intermediate level. They are en route to achieving this after registering a famous intermediate semi-final win against Austin Stacks that ended in penalties.

Why has David Clifford's Fossa not played their Kerry intermediate championship final yet?

However, if the winner of the county championship is a divisional side like it was this year, the winners of the Senior Club Championship go on to represent the Kingdom in the Muster Championship.

For example, David Clifford's East Kerry divisional side won this year's county championship, therefore Dingle will go on to represent Kerry in the Munster Championship.
