Aghagallon reached the Antrim Senior Football Championship final for the second consecutive year following a dramatic 3-10 to 0-18 victory over Casement’s Portglenone on Sunday.
Aghagallon won the game four minutes into injury time at the end of extra-time in Dunsilly thanks to a goal by Adam Loughran.
With Aghagallon two points down, and in desperate need of a goal, a long ball towards the Portglenone end looked to be going wide. However, it was kept in play by Ruairi McCann who found Ciaran Maginnis who then found Loughran.
The Aghagallon forward struck a low shot towards the corner which hit the Portglenone net for a sensational win.

It was the second remarkable comeback of the game for Aghagallon. With four minutes of normal time left to play, they had trailed Portglenone by five points but a goal by McCann (his first of two in the game), followed by points from Loughran and Gareth Magee tied the game at 1-9 to 0-12 and sent it to extra-time.

There was a familiarity to the result for both sides. Aghagallon had defeated Portglenone after double extra-time in last year's semi-final. It is also the fourth consecutive year in which Portglenone have lost at the semi-final stage.
Aghagallon will face Cargin, 0-13 to 0-12 victors over Kickhams Creggan, in their second ever senior Antrim football decider. They lost last year's final to Creggan.
