The predictably paltry crowd at Pearse Park in Longford made Monaghan manager Eamon McAneney feel Shakespearian.

He told the Indo:

"They (the GAA) wanted their pound of flesh and took it, brought everyone here and I hope they're happy," said a stoney-faced McEneaney.
