Brendan Maher was down in Adelaide earlier this month as part of the Toughest Trade experiment. He spoke of his new found respect for cricket after his week with the Big Bash League outfit, the Adelaide Strikers.
Thankfully, he eschewed any Chris Gayle style interviews with local reporters.
But who is the cricket man who will try out hurling? The AIB GAA twitter account let slip the secret as they promoted the game in which he's involved tonight.
Two time Ashes winner Steve Harmison - one of the fastest bowlers ever - is the man in question.
He's swapping Yorkshire (an old club of his) for small town Tipp. In doing so, he escapes the glare of professional Yorkshireman Geoffrey Boycott but may yet incur the wrath of Tipperary's answer to Geoff Boycott, Babs Keating.
We wish him luck tonight.
