Bigger news for Rugby fans than GAA fans maybe but clear the way for IRFU to bid for the Rugby World Cup (if it so chooses).
Motion 27 to increase amount of branding allowed on jerseys is passed. 90 per cent of delegates vote in its favour. #gaa

We'll now see GAA clubs and inter-county teams with multiple sponsors on the front of the jerseys. The GPA reaction to these increased revenue streams could be interesting.
Hawk-Eye motion has been overwhelmingly passed. Use of Hawk-Eye technology to be used in Croke Park on trial basis. #gaa

The GAA getting a jump on FIFA.
Motion 22 passed with a big majority. Point with open hand now allowed in Gaelic football. #gaa

Should pave the way for volleyball players to become stars at full forward.
Motion 54 on enshrining stance on anti-sectarian and anti-racist behaviour in the Official Guide gets 90% support from delegates. #gaa
