Former Kerry defender Tomas Ó Sé looks set to officially become a Nemo Rangers player withing the next 24 hours, according to Cork's Evening Echo. The club's secretary, Bernadette Allen, confirmed the prospect of a move:
I can confirm that Tomás Ó Sé’s transfer forms have been put through to Cork County Board and he will be a Nemo Rangers player, hopefully by tomorrow afternoon latest, provided there are no late hiccups which shouldn’t be the case.
Ó Sé is a teacher in Fermoy and his children are already playing with Nemo, so the move makes a lot of sense and is a huge coup for the Rangers club. Allen added 'Tomás will be a huge addition to our club and his experience will be invaluable.'
The Echo report that other clubs in the city, such as Douglas and St Finbarrs, were also seeking out Ó Sé's services but it seems the move to Nemo makes most sense. Now that it looks like he his well and truly settled in the area, could we see his sons line out in the red of Cork in years to come? The Ó Sé dynasty is spreading across the south.
