It was possibly the busiest weekend of the season with the Munster hurling final, the Leinster football final and a glut of qualifiers in both codes.
The romantic heroes of mid-90s hurling, Clare and Limerick both exited the championship after losing narrowly to Cork and Dublin respectively.
In the football qualifiers, Galway made the arduous trip to Armagh and came out with a win, Kildare rolled over Longford, Tyrone ultimately faced down a stern Meath challenge, while Fermanagh somehow turned over the confident Roscommon after a remarkable late burst.
Dublin polished off the Leinster title as expected. It only seems to get easier for them year on year.
