This lad just keeps going and going.

Graham Geraghty willing be making Sigerson Cup debut at the tender age of 40 when he lines out for Blanchardstown IT against NUI Maynooth next year.

The Clann na nGael GAA clubman is enrolled in a Social and Community Development and seems to be relishing the opportunity to play a bit of college ball:

'I’ve been playing all summer, and I’d be fit enough alright. A lot of the team are good club players but not getting a look in at county level. A few of them might be touching under-21 panels but not anything like some of the other college.'

It'll be a tall ask to overcome Maynooth, finalists a couple of years ago, who boast the likes of Michael Darragh MacAuley among their ranks.

Geraghty said 'It’s hard for a college like Blanchardstown when you haven’t the funds to offer lads scholarships. But it’s a growing college, and if you can stay up a year or two you might attract some of the top players.'
