What happened to the good old GAA of yesteryear? Sambos out the back of the car before striding confidently up to the gates of whatever county ground you happened to be where you could get two kids and adult in on the promise of a pint for whoever was manning the turnstile.
Terrible business plan but great for nostalgia purposes in years to come. No more. The GAA is a business and businesses need to make money. Following the trailblazing Kingspan Breffni Park in Cavan, Carlow's Dr. Cullen Park has become the next county ground to lose it's former moniker.

Yes, it appears the Dr. part of Dr. Cullen Park is no more. Long live the Doctor.
