After Wednesday evening's Champions League semi-final, the RTÉ panel discussed the Jack Grealish situation.
Kenny Cunningham said on Tuesday that Martin O'Neill should cut all ties with the Aston Villa midfielder. None of Sadlier, Dunphy and Brady echoed that sentiment. All were of the view that Grealish's talent is worthy of him being given time.
When put to the panel by a tweeter that the English FA had only become interested in Grealish recently, Liam Brady had some insider information.
They've been trying to talk the lad, I know this because I know the people that work at youth level. They've been trying to talk him round to playing for England in the last few years but he's decided that he wants to play for us. I had hoped that would continue on. I don't know what's going on behind the scenes. He's certainly a player that we would love to have.
