TV3's Islanders premiered last week. The four-part series takes a look at life on Aranmore in Donegal, Inishturk in Mayo and Cork's Whiddy Island.
During the filming of the show, the spectacularly set Inishturk GAA pitch was opened with a match between the home side and neighbouring Clare Island. Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh was there as a special guest and obliged those present with some commentary for the game.
The venue is surrounded by mountains on three sides and club secretary Eugene O'Toole described it as "a pitch that appears out of nowhere".
Here's a wider view of the pitch from the Irish Times' Laurence Mackin.
