Cork's Jamie O'Sullivan could be hearing a bit more about this incident in the coming days.
During the opening minutes of Dublin and Cork's Division One Allianz League final the half back hit Diarmuid Connolly with a nasty elbow. O'Sullivan was lucky that the referee missed the clash or otherwise he almost certainly would have seen red.
Connolly spent a few moments receiving treatment on the pitch and was OK to continue. He went on to score the opening goal of the game from the penalty spot.
Retrospective punishment is surely coming the Corkman's way.
