The Kilkenny County Board have this evening confirmed Brian Cody's ratification for another term as manager of the All Ireland champions.

Confirmation that Cody is staying on will surely come as good news to Kilkenny fans. His continuation had been widely mooted but the ten time All Ireland winning manager had been somewhat aloof over whether he would be staying around to try and claim number eleven. Cody will now begin his 17th year in charge of the Cats and who'd bet against him guiding Kilkenny to yet another Championship title.
