After weeks of exciting action in the round-robins of the Munster and Leinster championships and the Joe McDonagh Cup, the path to Liam MacCarthy Cup for 2024. Here's everything you need to know about this year's Hurling championship fixtures as we enter the knockout phases.
In the Leinster championship, Kilkenny lifted Bob O'Keeffe for the 76th time with a rout over Dublin in the Leinster final.
As for the Joe McDonagh Cup, Offaly secured Liam MacCarthy status for 2025 by defeating Laois in Croke Park. The champions will move on to play Cork in the preliminary quarter-finals, while Laois will face Wexford.
In the Munster championship, Limerick made history as they became the first side to win the Munster title six times in-a-row as they dispatched Clare. Similar to in the Leinster championship Kilkenny, Limerick advance to the semi-finals while Clare and Dublin advance to the quarter-finals. Cork in third will move on to the preliminary quarter-finals.
The quarter-finals were set after Wexford beat Laois and Cork beat Offaly in the preliminary quarter-final round.
In the quarter-finals, Cork would keep their Liam MacCarthy dreams alive as they would defeat Dublin while Clare would book their place in the semi-finals after cruising past a 14 man Wexford side.
