Leinster champions Offaly are set to face Munster champions Tipperary this weekend in the final of the 2024 All-Ireland U20 Hurling Championship, which will bring to an end what has been an exciting championship so far. Here's everything you need to know about the 2024 All-Ireland U20 hurling final.

For Offaly, their defence of Leinster began in the groups with a 1-18 win over Dublin and a 0-15 to 1-12 draw with Galway. In turn, the Faithful County would qualify for the provincial quarter-final where they cruised past Laois 1-28 to 2-09. In an action packed semi-final against Kilkenny, Leo O'Connor's men edged past to win 2-17 to 2-16.

Offaly would match up against Dublin in the final played in Laois Hire O'Moore Park, where Adam Screeney's 0-09 contribution helped lift them to a memorable 1-18 to 1-15 win where Offaly fans swarmed the pitch immediately after the final whistle.

In Tipperary's case, the topped the Munster group stages on points difference with wins over Limerick, Waterford, and Cork and a loss against Clare in the final round of group games.

That allowed Tipp to qualify directly for the Munster final, where they would face Cork at TUS Gaelic Grounds in Limerick. Brendan Cummins' men would secure the Munster title with a 1-19 to 0-21 win, however Cork should have been awarded a goal following Tipperary goalkeeper Eoin Horgan catching a shot attempt behind his goal line.

Offaly will be looking to become kings of u-20 hurling for the first time while Tipperary will be looking for their 12th U20 hurling title.

The two counties met in minor hurling decider back in 2022, with Tipperary coming out on top 1-17 to 1-16.
