All-Ireland champions Limerick lead the way in this year's PwC hurling All-Star nominations list with 12 players recognised.

In all, there are players from 10 counties on this year's 45-man list. Along with Limerick, there are eight nominees from beaten All-Ireland finalists Kilkenny, and also eight each for semi-finalists Clare and Galway. Cork have three players on the list, and Wexford two. The list is rounded out by one each for Dublin, Tipperary, Waterford and Westmeath.

The nominees for Hurler and Young Hurler of the Year have also been announced.

Limerick defenders Diarmaid Byrnes and Barry Nash, along with Kilkenny's TJ Reid are up for Hurler of the Year.

Reid's fellow Kilkenny forward Eoin Cody, who won the award in 2020 and 2021, is again nominated for Young Hurler of the Year, along with teammate Mikey Butler and Cork's Ciarán Joyce.
