The fixtures have been announced for the 2019 Munster Hurling Championship.
In 2018, the championship started on May 20th. Next year's competition will begin a week earlier.
A problem with this year's round robin Munster and Leinster Championships was two teams having to play games on four consecutive weekends. Tipperary and Waterford did so in Munster, Wexford and Offaly in Leinster.
This issue has been resolved in Munster by starting the championship on May 12th. It will allow a break weekend. Though it has not yet been finalised as to whether that will be the weekend of May 26th or June 2nd.

Round 3 – weekend 26th May or weekend 2nd June
