Westmeath manager Tom Cribbin said it meant a lot more to Westmeath than it would have to Meath and it's probably fair to say that's a bit of an understatement. For all the complaining about the Leinster Championship that's been going on over the past few years, yesterday was a brief and welcome respite from the cynicism.
Westmeath may go in to the Leinster final with as much chance of losing by thirty points as they have of winning it but right now, it hardly seems like it matters. As one Westmeath fan said yesterday, 'that was our All Ireland'.
