It's been quite a weekend for fighting in Irish sport.
The result may not have gone the way of the Irish with McGregor's submission to Nate Diaz in Vegas, but Kerry and Donegal clearly got into the spirit of things when playing in their Allianz League fixture on Sunday afternoon.
Sportsfile were there to capture the action, and the photos really tell a story of how feisty the game really was
It starts with some wrestling moves of their own:
You can even see the grappling off the ball:
Probably not the smartest thing to do with a linesman watching exactly what you're doing:
That got Aidan O'Mahony into the physical game:
You have to admire Michael Murphy's attempt to fly even when others are trying to fight:
"Not now guys, I'm trying to fly":
Then the cards started raining down:
People weren't happy:
Dana White was scouting the game for new UFC talent:
Not even the Donegal players seem happy with Alan Fitzgerald's red:
Neil McGee is blooding more than McGregor did:
But that didn't stop the action:
Kerry won the fight with a rear-naked chokehold in the second round.
