What looked to be a comfortable win for Ireland at half-time suddenly turned into a very tense affair at Croke Park following an Australian rally in the 3rd and 4th quarters.
Ireland's switch to a defensive mindset saw the Aussies ramp up the pressure late on, but Ireland eventually held on for a 56-52 win.
