Waterford's Armore are All-Ireland champions after a thrilling 3-11 to 0-18 win over Fethard St Mogues of Wexford today in Croke Park.
It took extra-time to separate the sides but ultimately Ardmore's obvious weapon won it out, the evergreen Seamus Prendergast landing a monstrous 1-08 from full-forward.

Prendergast's 12-year intercounty career ended in 2014 but with his club, Ardmore, captained by his brother and full-back Declan Prendergast secured an outstanding All-Ireland title. They are the first Waterford club side to win an All-Ireland club title.
It looked like a Mark Wallace late free had secured the title for St Mogues but a last-gasp David Gartland point forced extra-time. A John Gartland goal proved crucial in extra-time and the Prendergast brothers got the opportunity to climb the Croke Park steps.

Credit too must go to Seamus's younger brother, Declan, who at 37 has given just as much to the cause, as he said earlier this week.
Myself and Seamus and Wayne and Richie and Niall (Hennessy) and James O'Donnell. There's a good few lads there who have probably given 20 years with the senior team which is a long time. We all grew up together and won a lot together underage too which I suppose is what kept us all going.
I'll be 37 in a couple of weeks. Sure, look, you play it for as long as you can because you'll be long enough looking in at it. That's our motto, anyway.
