The fitness gurus over at Men's Health regularly produce excellent videos to show you how to optimise your workouts, but this one looks very, very do-able in your own home.
Everybody has five minutes free every day, and if you can incorporate this relatively simple dumbbell workout into your daily routine you can burn fat easily as it is designed to tone muscles and raise metabolism.
Men’s Health Next Top Trainer 2015 Winner Gideon Akande shows how by starting simple, and adding one more excercise each minute, you can get a great workout done in five minutes:
Squeeze your glutes. Be sure to squeeze your glutes.
Here’s the breakdown:
Minute 1: straight-leg deadlift
Minute 2: add a biceps curl
Minute 3: add a lunge
Minute 4: add an overhead press
Minute 5: add a pushup
Sounds fairly straight forward, although I may die somewhere between minutes 1 and 3 when I try this tomorrow morning..
If, like thousands of us, you can't dedicate a big chunk of your day to working out, then give this a go. But be sure to commit to it properly if you want to see some results.
