WWE superstar Seth Rollins performed through the pain barrier recently for wrestling fans in Dublin.
The former WWE champion suffered a serious ACL tear during a match-up with Kane and continued to fight on, eventually winning the contest.
However after the match it was confirmed that Rollins would be out of action for anywhere between 6-9 months, forcing him to vacate his WWE title.
With the WWE keen for Rollins to return to action and Rollins himself keen to win his title back the superstar has already begun intense rehab, despite suffering the injury only a few weeks ago.
Rollins is already undergoing five hours of rehab every single day which is split between two separate sessions, which he describes himself as "brutal".
The sessions are actually really brutal, the therapy sessions are really brutal, a lot worse than I had expected them to be.
The superstar also mentioned how they are effecting his daily life.
I'm just getting around trying to lead a normal life, even a sedentary life that I'm just not used to. It's really difficult for me to have to do a complete 180 from the life I lived before.
Rollins situation dispels any pre conceived notions that sports stars are able to enjoy some down time when they're out on the sidelines.
