Cork side Newcestown just snuck past Clonakenny of Tipperary in the Munster intermediate club hurling championship semi-final on Sunday.
Despite being on the losing side, it's a game that Clonakenny's Conor Ryan will not forget any time soon.
During the match, Ryan had his hand impaled on the helmet of one of his teammates.
Yep, still have no idea how this could happen. Impaled hand on a helmet? #TheToughest pic.twitter.com/6f0qgomcq2

Clonakenny chairmain Gerry O'Hara told The42.ie that Ryan was in Cork this morning to have the helmet removed from his hand.
Ryan also sent the above picture to John Joe Ryan - the owner of the helmet.
