Zlatan can do all sorts of things extremely well, we know this already. It was unsurprising, then, that he was the runaway winner of the Ligue 1 player of the year for the second consecutive season. He was present on the night to pick up the gong and was invited to give his acceptance speech in the local language.
He accepted the invitation and rattled off the obligatory thank-yous and hopes for next season. All very standard except for the fact that he did it in the style of Peter Sellers in the Pink Panther. It was enough to draw guffaws from PSG manager Laurent Blanc and teammates Salvatore Sirigu and Marco Verrati.
Apparently Zlatan speaks five languages, but merde alors I don't think French is one of them.

In fairness to the mighty Swede, his pronunciation might be a bit off but he makes himself pretty clear. If anything, it sounds a little bit like he's speaking African French, which he is likely to have picked up from many of his teammates. He never fails to impress, does he?
