Having arrived over an hour late for a press conference today, Zlatan Ibrahimovic's first utterings to the gathered media went something along the lines of 'well, why were you here so early'. It's easy to suggest that the Swedish striker was rather comfortable in the limelight as the world's football media hung off his every word.
Amid rumours of a move to Manchester United, the 34 year old confirmed that he does in fact have 'concrete offers from clubs in England as well as Italy and from sides outside Europe' but he stopped short of saying that he's close to agreeing a deal to follow Jose Mourinho to Old Trafford.
There's talk of a quite simply ludicrous financial package on the table to take him to China but when it was put to him that he may like to link up with Mourinho again following their previous spell at Inter Milan, Zlatan was in no mood to be coy.
I had a fantastic time with him at Inter and we said when I left that we might work together again.
He is the man to bring Manchester United back to the top. If you want action, you get Mourinho. He is a winner.
So Zlatan, does that mean that you'll be moving to Old Trafford?
So this was Zlatan responding to the Man United question. Quite telling (via @UnitedPeoplesTV ) https://t.co/BovlHAADQU
