Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to be staying at Manchester United beyond this season after manager Jose Mourinho extended his contract at the club so that it will run until the end of the 2017/18 season.
United confirmed this via their official Twitter account this afternoon.

Zlatan started like a house on fire at United, scoring five goals in his first five games, before bagging just one in his next eleven. A brace against Swansea the weekend before last will have been encouraging for United fans though his ban against Arsenal at the weekend didn't help his side's cause.

Whatever about Zlatan's form his contract extension is good news for those of us who enjoy Zlatan almost as much for his off-field quotes and personality as for the outrageous things he can do on a pitch.
