In the now annual half-football/half-rugby match, Toulon hosted the French 1998 World Cup winning team complete in their old jerseys. The likes of Didier Deschamps and Robert Pires starred for the French football team against Toulon as part of their warm-up to the Top 14 season that starts in just over three weeks.
The star of the show though was undoubtedly Zinedine Zidane, who remained as majestic as humanly possible whilst dominating at another sport. Zidane's try, yes a try, was the highlight of the game that also saw Pires dot down over the tryline.
There are rumours that Toulon are now looking to sign the 43-year-old Zidane, who falls within the age profile that Toulon like to sign, although his Frenchness will count against him.
Still though, it's a nice return to form for Zidane, whose last attempt at rugby didn't go as well.
